English is the most common language in the world. When you go to foreign country, if you can’t speak that country’s first language you should use English. It will be best way. In some countries, the native language is English. However, most countries do not have the chance to learn English as a first language. So many people go abroad to learn English. There are many advantages in studying English in America. These advantages include opportunities, collect English and culture.
First, there are many opportunities. We can experience different things every day. When we go shopping or dining we have to use English a lot. It’s so different. And in America of course we can make American friends. That’s why we have relationship that we have never had. In entertainment, we can watch NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB. They are the most popular sports in America and some of the best leagues in the world. In addition, we can go to beach and theme park to relax.
Second, we can learn correct English. On TV, radio and books, we can get information in English. So it will be practice in reading and speaking. There are many schools which include international school and all of school’s teachers speak English. So we have to speak in class to classmates. When talking to native speakers, we have to try our best. If communication doesn’t flow, we can get feedback and realize our mistake.
Finally, in culture in America there is global English so we can meet people who have different culture. We can know American and different country’s culture and history. Actually living in America we need to know correct behavior and American language which includes slang and idioms that we have never learned in own country. Every American use slang a lot. If I didn’t know slang and idioms we don’t understand what they are talking about and sometimes using slang is easy to tell think.
In conclusion, we can learn a lot of things in America so absolutely there will be many advantages. According to the world’s appearance, English will be more necessary in the future. So studying English in America makes me broaden our horizons in many situations. If you want to study English you should go to America and learn correct English. Everything that you get will be very useful in your life.
